VDI-pCNP

A breakthrough in the diagnosis of clinically important infections such as sepsis

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________

VDI-pCNP is a simple blood test that measures canine NT-proCNP .

VDI-pCNP will determine if the inflammatory response is due to a clinically important and often hidden infection, thus helping to prevent delayed or inappropriate treatment for a patient in distress. The biomarker pCNP has a high specificity (0.94) in detecting infection whereas current tests such as WBC indicate that a wide variety of diseases are associated with neutrophilia and leukocytosis in dogs”1. VDI-pCNP is immediately available for dogs as the feline test validation process continues.

For more information on how to use pCNP, click here .
